SpamProtec evaluates sender-domain authentication signals (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) together with the content and can therefore detect attacks that appear legitimate at first glance.

For common providers, the wizard detects the server settings automatically. Microsoft 365 connects through Microsoft sign-in; other providers may require an app password or server details.
New messages are checked continuously. Messages identified as spam move to the spam folder, reducing manual sorting.
An IDLE connection reports new messages as events, while regular checks provide a fallback. Classification usually happens shortly after arrival, but provider conditions and load can cause longer delays.
Move a message to the spam folder or back to the inbox and SpamProtec will take that correction into account in future checks. Security checks and higher-priority rules remain in effect.
No MX change, no new email address, no software. SpamProtec works via IMAP right where your mail already lives — your workflow stays exactly the same.
A dashboard with statistics and a quarantine view shows what was intercepted. Plus a daily or weekly report by email — and anything misfiled is one click to restore.
Spam detection needs message content. SpamProtec technically reduces that content before external AI checks and clearly discloses providers, data flow and residual risks.
Fixed rules and a locally operated model redact recognised personal identifiers before any external AI check. Only the resulting reduced text is transmitted for classification.
Immediately before transfer, an independent leak gate checks again for defined data patterns. If it detects residual data, external transmission is blocked and processing continues locally.
Automated redaction recognises defined patterns and learned entities, but cannot guarantee detection of every free-text reference. That is why recipients, safeguards and residual risks are clearly described in our privacy policy.

Before external AI checks, recognised personal identifiers are redacted locally and transfer is protected by an additional pattern check; complete anonymisation of free text cannot be guaranteed technically.
